XBOX 360

My Brother just got a new XBOX 360 so I have been playing a little bit of that, my, how tecnology has advanced! We have come a long way from the old days of the Nintendo (which I also played this week) and even prior to that those pong days or whatever our parents played for fun.
We got NBA LIVE 07 for the 360 last night and playing that brought back all kinds of memories I have of playing basketball games with my bro... I remember back in the day playing Lakers vrs. Celtics on the Sega Genesis and we thought those graphics were radical then we advaced to some cool game like NBA Jam on the super nintendo and then on to the playstation and original XBOX. We have played our fair share of basketball...who know what the future holds maybe the XBOX 5000 or the Playstation 12 will have some great new technology like a real basketball!

MERRY CHRISTMAS EVERYONE!!

I spent the last few minutes of Christmas eve and the first few minutes of Christmas day the same way I have for the last three years with a candle in my hand at Granger Community Church with my family! The candles are lit to help remind us that we are not alone in this world. It's always cool when they put out the lights and you see the candle light spread all around you. Good Times!

I am gonna go to bed now so Santa can do his thing.
Morning comes early and I have a lot of gifts to open so I need some rest!

HOLIDAYS

The holiday rush is here this week, and I love it! A lot of Ruth's side of the family is visiting us in the next two weeks and that is always FUN! We are doing some last minute prep on the house finishing some bedroom stuff, getting the gas line run for the stove and stuff like that. I only wish I didn't have to work this week but I couldn't get the time off! I am like a little kid anticipating the Christmas morning rituals. Hope santa brings me what I want!

WOWSERS!

Today there is all kinds of excitement at the Tarwacki household! We are finally getting our couch and at a nicely discounted price! Also we finished setting up our guest room and our new bedroom both good things! To top it all off Ruth and I have been blessed this month in so many ways it's unreal(It's a God thing!) and the month is only half over, we still have Christmas to go! We have been talking about trying to be a blessing to others this season and we have a few tricks up our sleeves but I can't disclose those things at this time! Sorry! Confidential, If I told you I would have to kill you kind of stuff! That's all folks!

COUCHUP

Well Today Marks the end of the Couchdown and still no couch.... Hopefully by this weekend we will have it with a big discount and free delivery! It's been fun counting weeks but I am ready to just sit and enjoy my new couch.

I like listening to talk radio because sometimes you learn some really weird stuff! Yesterday I learned that the rights for the song Happy Birthday are owned by AOL Time Warner and they bring in about $2 million a year on royalties. This is the reason that you always get a funny song or jig at every restaurant that you attend on your birthday and not the traditional Happy Birthday. If you wait until the year 2030(my 46th Birthday) you can sing Happy Birthday royalty free!

COUCHDOWN ONE WEEK!

Ruth and I are pretty excited because the couch should be here soon! The big thing this week is the carpet is getting installed tomorrow in our bedroom upstairs! We are finishing the painting and electrical tonight!
